A freelance writer, Lisa’s work has appeared in the pages of local and regional publications such as Encore, MiBiz, Michigan Meetings and Events Magazine, as well as national formats including Dog World, Animal Wellness Magazine, Country, Highlights for Children and various Chicken Soup for the Soul titles. Inspiration for Lisa’s stories come from life events, and to improve her craft, every day, she executes what an editor advised her years ago –
writers write!
When she’s not writing, Lisa can be found outdoors. Lisa and her husband enjoy camping, bicycling, fly-fishing, and mountain climbing. A few of their favorite places to enjoy the natural world include Glen Arbor, Michigan, with its backdrop of Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, Rapid City, South Dakota, between the Black Hills and Badlands National Park, and Sugar Hill, New Hampshire.
Hello Lisa,
I was reading your article on “12 baskets” and would like to get in touch with the folks over there. I have an idea for them. Can you forward my contact information or send me one of theirs? I’m a former chef, food writer and culinary educator and thought I might be able to offer them some ways of creating an income to support their work Channon Mondoux- 269-547-0339 or channonmondoux@gmail.com
Hi Channon, I spoke with Joann over at Twelve Baskets. She has forwarded your contact information to someone there, and they will be in touch. Thanks for reaching out. It’s an awesome organization!
